When this happens, we need to determine the change to the BIOS and formulate a new method to execute the BIOS to UEFI command-line. Our investigations have discovered that the new BIOS modifications may change (or even deprecate or replace) a BIOS property which we may not be aware of. Over time it is conceivable that the hardware vendor may make modifications to the BIOS and when you then flash the BIOS on the model where the 1E BIOS to UEFI tool previously worked, it may no longer work and causes the OS deployment to fail. CCTK WAKEONLAN PASSWORD
There is a known issue with the 1E BIOS to UEFI tool and version 4.1.0.478 (released May 2018) when using the BIOS password controls that will be resolved in the next release of the 1E BIOS to UEFI tool.
Using a later version of the Dell Command | Configure tool than the version downloaded by the wizard may cause unexpected behavior as each version of the 1E BIOS to UEFI tool is tested with the version that was current at the time of development and stated above in this documentation.
